The Goolwa Aquatic Club is the home of power boating on the South Coast of the Fleurieu Peninsula.

 

​The Club was first established in 1959 by a group of local speedboat enthusiasts and was founded on speedboat racing. The Club's first Commodore was Jack Newcombe of Goolwa and he held office from 1959 to 1963.

​

The Goolwa Aquatic Club prides itself on a strong local atmosphere and encourages all types of boating activities and aquatic disciplines. The Club has a strong community spirit and supports worthwhile causes.
